Biotics Research 5-MTHF Plus Forte is a dietary supplement and a highly absorbable, activated form of folate, that does not require enzymatic conversion to 5-methylfolate in the body, and consists of a glucosamine salt form that is utilized and more stable than other forms of methylfolate that is often used. It provides 2,500 mcg of folate as 6S-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid, glucosamine salt, 25 mcg of vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin, 12.5 mcg of superoxide dismutase from vegetable culture, and 12.5 mcg of catalase from vegetable culture.
